June Newsletter

June Newsletter

The Summer Solstice rung in Summer but our June was already filled with warm weather, a series of festive events and an incredible number of new listings, properties we put under agreement and closings! We are so grateful to our clients that continue to trust us with their real estate journeys. We hope everyone has a spectacular and safe 4th of July!

Culture & Philanthrophy

Boston: What do you get when you match fashion with fundraising? An afternoon at The Red Sox Foundation's Fenway to the Runway! MGS Group Real Estate is a proud sponsor of this wonderful cause and we were honored to support and witness the Red Sox wives and girlfriends strutting their stuff on the runway for charity!

NYC: On June 10th, The Gold Foundation brought together its community of doctors, nurses, students, patients, families and supporters for a celebration of humanism in healthcare. My parents Dr. Arnold P. Gold and Dr. Sandra Gold co-founded this wonderful organization to encourage human connection in the medical field and to ensure that all patients receive the highest quality, compassionate care.

Eat

Boston: Many people remember when Allston's beloved Deep Ellum closed in 2020 after a 13-year run, but earlier this year it returned—this time in Waltham! Their menu has many of the old favorites (truffle gorgonzola fries anyone?!) - plus some new surprises. Their delightful patio right on Moody Street is a must-visit this summer!

NYC: Enter the stone-clad towering lobby at Cafe Boulud and prepare for a transformative dining experience. With a foundation in classic French technique and an innovative flair, their global dishes also have a New York twist.

Play

Boston: MGS Group Real Estate is a proud sponsor of Summer in the City at the Boston Harbor Hotel! Make sure to check out their amazing lineup of artists and events - Tuesdays and Fridays until August 29th. The combination of live music and stunning harbor views can’t be beat!

NYC: Long, winding pathways lead to a hilltop marvel in Northern Manhattan - The Met Cloisters. With picturesque views across the Hudson River, travel through time to experience medieval architecture, exquisite gardens, and marvelous works of art. I'm particular fond of The Unicorn Tapestry collection! ðŸ¦„

Indulge

Boston: This weekend was the grand opening of Aperitivo The Shop in Boston's North End. The curated selection of housewares and gifts is every dinner host's one-stop shop for cookbooks, candles and glassware. Conveniently located around the corner from Mike's Pastry, you can grab everything you need for a successful summer soirée!

NYC: Tucked away on The Beauty Level of Bergdorf Goodman's, Café Ginori offers an intimate new venue for an unforgettable shopping and dining experience. Everything from the wallpaper, to the furniture and tablescapes were sourced from the age-old Italian heritage brand Ginori 1735 (located on the 7th floor). The café is open for lunch and apertivo, with a focus on Italian fare and refreshing beverages.
