July Newsletter

We are now officially past the halfway point of Summer, and are optimistic that the market will continue to be strong as we head into Q3!  While August is typically a “slow” month in real estate, we have been busy with showings and signing up new listings to launch after Labor Day – please reach out for all the scoop!  Enjoy all that these warm Sunny Days have to offer and I hope you are enjoying time with family and friends!

Culture & Philanthropy

Boston: We were excited, enthusiastic and grateful to participate in the Run to Home Base  in support of our Veterans and their families. It was an empowering day to be at Fenway Park and the feeling of crossing home plate is indescribable. Thanks to all of you who donated to TEAM MGS GROUP REAL ESTATE!

NYC: I have been a long time supporter and advocate of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and the wonderful work that they do to fight antisemitism and hate of any kind. Now, more than ever, their efforts and messages are needed in the world.

Eat

Boston: If you've been craving an indulgent dessert experience, look no further than the newly opened The Half Cookie at The Street in Chestnut Hill. Their NY-style cookies have been making a splash in Boston's Seaport pop up until now - their new brick and mortar location will offer hand rolled, freshly baked flavors like Salted Twix and Brookie. Yum!

NYC: In a cozy setting on the Upper East Side is the beloved Le Veau d’Or, a French bistro originally founded in 1937 that recently underwent a 5 year restoration. Their small bites, adventurous wine selection and delectable desserts are surrounded by many of the original pieces of artwork and patrons.

Play

Boston: The August Moon Festival on August 11th is one of the most meaningful Chinese festivals, marking the beginning of Fall and a time of bounty. The streets of Boston's Chinatown transform into a festival scene, with vendors selling everything from souvenirs to Mooncakes, while visitors enjoy cultural dance performances and learn calligraphy.

NYC: Don't miss this year's final Broadway in Bryant Park performance on August 1! Just the cherry on top of an amazing Summer season, this show will include performances from “& Juliet”, “SIX The Musical”, “Wicked” and more!

Indulge

Boston: Uvida is Boston's very first zero-waste shop that recently moved from Brookline to the North End. This (women owned!) business was founded with the intention to bring eco-friendly, reusable, and refillable alternatives to the city's households. Stop by to shop their guilt-free gifting choices and plant collection as well!

NYC: Coming Soon...the long awaited arrival of Foundrae on the Upper East Side! I have discovered some of my favorite jewelry pieces from this incredible collection and I can't wait until their doors open at 777 Madison.
